Is Colestipol Safe To Take Along With Tylenol?
I am taking Colestipol 1gm for IBSD. I just saw that Tylenol might be a problem, yet I need it for my arthritis. Can spacing of the two prevent harm? I already am baffled by how to take the Colestipol because my doctor s instructions, as shown on the label are simply 1 tablet every 8 hours, but the pharmacy personnel added a sticker that says Take other medications at least 1 hour before or 4 hours after this medication. Can you give me any tips for a less confusing and complicated way to figure out when to take the Colestipol?

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Colestipol may delay or reduce the absorption of concomitant oral medication.
So please follow the pharmacist and take Tylenol at least 1 hour before or 4 hours after Colestipol so that it doesn't interfere with its absorption. Apart from delayed absorption no significant interactions are seen between these two drugs.
