Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Clobetasol is a strong topical corticosteroid. Using corticosteroid alone in ring worm infection can cause worsening of it. A combination of corticosteroid with anti fungal agents like miconazole or terbinafine can be used. If you send a picture of your rash it will be more helpful in identifying. Condition like erythema multiforme also can give similar rash. In such case corticosteroids are used also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
