Now a days I am only taking citralka in the evening and left all the alopathic and homeopthic medicines. My question is: is citralka safe to continue?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Citralka is a solution which makes urine alkaline. Urine alkalinity would prevent the stone formation or its progress in size.
But, in your case, it may not be that effective as the stone size(s) you are having is quite big and needs removal by means of lithotripsy. Once the stones are removed, then you can use such urine alkalyting agents to prevent its recurrence.
Kindly consult Urologist for proper evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
