Is CT Scan Dangerous While Trying To Conceive?

yes I am suppost to be getting a ct scan in june. we are currently trying to conceive. could this be harmful to when trying to conceive. what other test should I try to have done instead of the ct scan so it wont harm my chance. I also had a ct scan 7 mths ago.

Thanks for using healthcaremagic.
CT Scan is dangerous while trying to conceive. I would advise you against it. If you seriously require to get a CT scan you can get it during the first half of your period, maybe within first 7 days so that it is confirmed that you wont be pregnant at the time of scan. Try to avoid it in the second half.
Instead of CT Scan you can undergo Ultrasound/ MRI which are free of radiation and will cause no problem even if you are pregnant.
