Is Betnovate N The Right Medication For Pimples On Face?

Hi,doctor my name. Is sanaya I got the pimple in my face since 6months I dint done any treatment yet so,from yesterday I started using Betnotate-n so can I apply on my full face or the pimple part only .is the crem get to clear my pimples plz send the rep as soon asa possible thaanking u.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have noticed pimples on face since 6 months which occur because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it leads to post inflammation hyper-pigmentation. You should apply MELALITE XL cream which is combination of hydroquinone + Tretinoin + steroid and apply it at night time. You can start with betnovate cream which is safe to use. I would suggest you to wash your face daily with cold water and face wash containing salycylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelac acid which is good for acne as well as marks . Apply aloe vera gel at night . If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks .
