Is Benadryl Safe During Diverticulosis With Bloody Diarrhea?

hi..i am taking cipro and flaxil after a finding of diverticulosis (seen thru a colonoscopy while in the hosp)and some pretty rough bleeding(bloody diarhea) episodes resulted in my hosptialization for 4 days..since i am not very active sinc emy release 2 days ago i mhaving trouble sleeeping and was wondering if its OK to take a benadryl?

I don't think benadryl will adversly affect you. It is usually well tolerated and should not interfere with the antibiotics
