Is Azithral 200 Syrup The Right Medicine For Severe Cough , Cold And Fever ?

My son is suffering from severe cold and cough from past one week now from last three days he is suffering from fever as well doctor prescribed him ALEx-p thrice a day but fever is coming after every 6 hours now doctor told me to add AZITHRAL 200 please suggest is this cure his cough problem too

Thanks for asking from HCM. Alex-P is syrup consists of Dextromethorphan and Paracetamol so the drug helps in cough as well as in fever also. The drug helps to provide symptomatic relief of cough and fever. Even after taking the drug his symptoms were persisting so this is the reason the doctors have prescribed antibiotics to him. Azithromycin is a broad spectrum antibiotic and the drug is very helpful in respiratory infections. The drug is usually advised for 3-5 days course. So complete the course of antibiotics as per his doctors advise.

Considering his symptoms Alex-P and Azithromycin are right medicines and should help to improve his symptoms. No need to worry. He should be given complete course of these drugs as advised by his doctor.
