General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Ma'am, Hi & Welcome.
Asthakind Syrup (Bromhexine, Guaiphenesin, Menthol, & Terbutaline) is generally prescribed for the treatment of chronic coughing associated with wheezing and sputum associated with bronchitis, asthma, & other breathing problems.
She needs to be examined by her treating doctor to rule respiratory infections like pneumonia which did not respond to the antibiotic Doxcef.
Hope this will help her.
