Is Apcod Effective In The Treatment Of PCOS And Weight Loss?

Hi doctor I have given apcod for pcos and weight loss . As in ultrasound it s written bilateral polycystic appearing ovaries. Does this medicine have any side effects. I have advised to take it for two months with iron tablets as we are planning for pregnancy. Does apcod helps in weight loss ? Currently my weight is 86 kgs. Doctor advised me to loose weight before getting pregnant.

Hi Dear Xxxxx ! I have gone through your question and I understand your concern .

APCOD is a suplement that contains Vitamin D that's help your menstrual cycle to be regular ( help to be pregnant ) and we use also in PCOS ., it's has not been reported any side effect of using it ( 2 x day in the one in the morning and one In the evening ) . ) from the the patient who have used it .

.However if you exsperience any abnormal effect you should report it to your doctor.
Yes APCOD will help you to loose weight but you need also to follow a diet ( I recommend you ,to go to a diettitian) , controll gour blood sugar , and to do some exsercise .
