Thanks - I am just trying to decide whether I have a cold sore or not
I've never had one but I do have HSV2 and have had one outbreak
I have a small sore on the side of my mouth - not sure if it could be a cold sore or a pimple - wondering if taking some acyclovir may be a good idea....

hi, there, did u have fever previously?? and do u have tingling sensation and severe pain,,if yes to all above symptoms , then u could have hsv2, and can take topical acyclovir... hope it helps,,,thanks for consulting hcm.
