Is 8kg Weight In A Two Years Five Months Old Infant Normal?

My son is 2 years and 5 months baby. But his weight is only 8kg. So I m worried about his health. I got doctors advice also. But doc says that if he is active then no need to worry about his weight. Is there any solution for his weight or it is the truth as doctors says? Please answer me. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your son 2yrs 5month with an 8kg weight I will suggest it not healthy he is undernourished or underfed

At least the Normal weight he would have gained is apparently 2016 so I will advice you to feed him appropriately

Alternatively schedule an appointment with a nutritional specialist for further clinical assessment and necessary nutritional guidelines

I hope this helps Regards
