Is 400 IU/ml In ASO Titre Test A Concern And How To Regulate It?

Respected Sir,Recently I made ASO Titre test and the result is 400 IU/ml. I am afraid of this. how can I reduce this? what type of disease may cause due to this in my body? What medicine and food should I intake? I am eagerly waiting for your suggestions.Regards -Shahrukh

ASO titre is antistreptolysin-O titre. It shows that you were recently infected with Streptococcus bacteria. It causes sore throat. I would advice you to show it to the medical specialist who advised you this test to rule out complications of Streptococcal infection. Since you have not mentioned your age or any symptom, I cannot comment further. There is no dietary restriction. Take care
