Is 150/80 A Good BP Reading ?

recently stopped taking blood pressure medication (aldomet 250). take only HCTZ 25 one daily for past 5 days

Hello.welcome.You have not mentioned your age.If you are young then it is definitely high.But if you are more than 60 years it may be OK.Although recent recommendations suggest that BP should be around 120/80.If you are on anti hypertensives you should not stop them.Consult your doctor for that.good luck.
