Is 135-110 Over 85-50 A Normal Range Of Blood Pressure?
my blood pressure ranges from 135-110 over 85-50 usually most common in the 120-130(128) over 70 im 20 years old 250 lbs have lost 53 lbs in last 4 months heart rate has been in the 70 s for most of them i know it is not my exact resting pressure but is it common for bp to be higher than the 120/80 throughout the day and not mean you pre-high blood pressure?
Hi welcome to HCM. The blood pressure in your case is absolutely normal. Its always safe to maintain the blood pressure under 130/80 mm of Hg.Blood pressure tend to fluctuate throughout the day.I also advise you to reduce your diet to 150 pounds.Maintain your BMI around 22.Restrict the intake of calories to less than 2200 kcal/day.I advise you to have a baseline ecg and screening 2 dimensional echo to assess your heart function, semiannually.Consult your cardiologist for further queries. Thank you.
