Hello ma'am.

I can understand your concern and frustration.

Yes of course there is treatment for piles. Piles are also called hemorrhoids. As you are aware they can be internal or external.

You say you have to internal type of hemorrhoids, but this will first have to be diagnosed by a doctor.

Now coming to treatment, the first piece of advise a doctor would have to give you is to avoid straining while passing a bowel movement. You will also be given stool softeners or laxatives to avoid straining while passing a bowel movement.

To start off with you might be advised creams, ointments (eg. Proctosedyl, etc.), sterile pads, etc; but these are more effective in the case of external hemorrhoids.

For internal hemorrhoids there exist various minimal invasive procedures like band ligation, sclerotherapy, etc. All of which are quite effective, although recurrences do still take place.

If proper lifestyle changes are made, they can be completely avoided in the future.

Hope this helps.

Take care.
