Irregular Periods, Suggested Diane For 3 Months. Will It Regulate My Periods Later ?

hi i m 35 years old female.my periods are irregular ..my gynacologist sujested me to take diane 35 for 3 months i want to know that after stop taking this tablet will it regulate my periods ?plz help me i m very upset .i also want to know that after marriage can i become pregnant easily?i want every month periods plz.,,,,,,,i also heard about vitex herb will it work to regulate my periods?

Hello,

Diane-35 is combined OCP and it is used to treat irregular period, caused by PCOS, hormonal imbalance etc. It regularizes your monthly period.

But you have to eliminate other possible reasons of irregular period like stress, anxiety, irregular diet habit, over wt, thyroid problem,pelvic infection etc.

Pelvic USG, hormone assay may require to rule out possible etiology. Other supportive treatment may be needed. Consult with gynecologist regarding this.

Low carbohydrate diet, wt reduction and proper medication help to regularize your period. Along with, you should take healthy diet with iron supplement, avoid stress, maintain genital hygiene and take sound sleep.
