Irregular Periods, Spotting After Intercourse. Reason?

My hubby and I had intercourse on Tuesday, Wednesday morning woke up went to the bathroom when I wiped there was a large blood clot. Thkught it was my period so inserted tampon and went to work, mid day went to the bathroom no blood.... not sure what is going on.... lmc was 3/23 I've always been irregular see and infertility doctor and I have taken 3 preg test over the last few weeks with the lasted one being 1 week ago.... I'm so confused.

Thanks for the query.

The possible causes for your bleeding are:
Post coital tear that can present with bleeding.
Local causes like cervical erosion, polyp etc.
If the bleeding repeats better to consult gynecologist once and get examined.
Better to take treatment for irregular cycles also to improve the chances of fertility.
