Irregular periods of long duration. When have I been ovulating or am I pregnant?

Since having my daughter 2 years ago I ve had irregular periods. I ve got for quite long periods of time with bleeding . I used to be really regular but now its kind of all over the place. I m trying for a baby at the moment and my last period started on 1st May but it lasted 3 weeks. Now I don t know when I have been ovulating or if I could be pregnant?

you have to consult local gynecologist and get examined,
take one ultrasound,
if she recommends undergo investigations like hormonal profile for FSH, LH, prolactin, estrogen, progesterone, prolactin and thyroid profile.
this workup will possibly find out the cause for your menorrhagea,
and treatment can be taken according to that.
