Irregular Periods, Heavy Bleeding, Periods Twice In A Month. Due To Stress?
I had twice menstruation in a month. Example Had 3-4 days menstruation and it is not heavy then after a week i will have a menstruation again for about 6-7 days and sometimes it is heavy on day time some on night time. this is happening to me for about 3 months that I am having twice a month menstruation. Is stress a factor ? Or whats happening to me?
Stress maybe a factor. We will need to make sure that you do not have any ovarian or uterine problems. Irregular periods can be caused by hormonal imbalances, nutritional imbalances, severe stress, exercise, sudden weight changes, ovarian or uterine diseases and environmental factors.
Most of the causes for irregular periods are correctable.
First action to be taken is to get yourself examined by a Gynaecologist. Also get your blood and hormonal studies done, and ultrasonography to see if any growth in the ovaries or uterus or any other structural abnormalities. General measures like improved nutrition, meditation and proper sleep would make you healthier and happier.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
