Irregular Periods, Heavy Bleeding, Advised To Take Regestrone 5mg
i am 49 yrs old. my periods were stopped 3months back.i started it getting it again on 3rd april. its stopped again but again after 1 week it started again. now i am bleeding heavily nd its pouring down my legs. i have been adviced to take regestrone 5mg but i am not taking it since i am scared i will get fat. wat am i supposed to do?

It seem that you are having pre manopausal period where period becomes irregular,more,less.
This is due to hormonal changes during menopause.
But in you case you have got heavy period with long duration,you require investigations like ultra sound of genital tract.
Consult gynaec and get examined.
