Hello, welcome to HCM, I am Dr. Das

Look, normal gap between two periods should be 22 to 35 days. not more than that.

So, in your case, it is not normal. You should be investigated meticulously.

First a clinical examination is very important. Signs of puberty and any abnormal hair growth should be noted. Any abnormal signs should be noted. Gynecological examination should be done.

Secondly, an ultrasound test should be done for search of any sign of polycystic ovarian syndrome.

IF any abnormality seen, then all the hormonal levels should be tested, including the estrogen, progesterone and many more.

Oral contraceptives should be used to regularize the periods.

Lastly, consult with a gynecologist for further management.

Regards.
