Irregular Periods After Delivery, Advised Meprate. What Are The Side Effects?

My periods r irregular after the birth of my second baby.its been almost 1.5 yrs n they r still irregular. I was advised to take meprate to regularise them. Kindly let me know its side effects and also from which day of menstrual cycle do I have to start taking the tablets na Los for how many days do I have take it before getting my next periods.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

Meprate is a progesterone derivative to induce menstrual bleeding. Side effects are nausea, vomiting,
diarrhea, menstrual irregularities, mood swings and headache.
You need to take meprate for 5 days following which you get your periods within 7 days.
