Irregular period. Waiting for hormone tests. Why is uterus lining thick?

I am 40 year old woman - weight is 300 pounds and i am definately not pregnant. Periods have been irregular for a year now. Had a full blood count last month all ok. Am now waiting on hirmone blood tests. Had ultrasound and internal scan three weeks ago, was told my uterus had thick lining lokked like i was going to start to bleed but have not done. This morning there has been some light brown discharge but no red blood

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. your weight is over weight to that age, causes could be diet habbits, hypothyroid, or other harmonal imbalance. Accompenying anaemia may precipitate the obecity, and irregular periods. Any how you are awaiting for harmonal essay, dont worry, every thing will be fine. Edometriosis or infection can cause thickening of endometrium.
Besides i advise you some diet recomendations as avoid taking fatty foods, fries, junk foods, spices and chillies. reduce the quantity of cereals, and fleshy fruits like banana.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, milk, egg, meat, sea foods, fruits, juices, and dry fruits. Wishing for a quick recovery, and thanks for calling.

Thanks for query,
Your irregular period is due to hormonal imbalance.
Hormonal imbalance occurs due to stress anxiety,long working hours shift duty or ovarian lesion.
Your hormonal blood test will high light it.
Obesity also one of the factor for it.
