Irregular Heart Beats In The Evening. Is This Serious?
Good evening. I suffer from irregular heart beats especially during the evening. I really annoys me. It's been some 30 years since I had the very first episode. I usually feel them for a day or two and I feel better afterwards. But lately say mid January I feel them almost everyday. I do not know if it carries risks but I am very very concerned. Any help please?
Dear Sir/madam
Thanks for writing to us.
An irregular pulse can have many forms (medically speaking) and each one of them carries a different meaning and treatment. In some cases only some life style modifications. We have to get an ECG done at the time of occurrence of those rhythms to know what actually is happening. Without looking at the ECG it is not possible to make a definite comment. Moreover it would have been better if you had written more about symptoms (what annoys you?). Still if you ever had blackouts/ blurred vision/loss of consciousness/ vertigo associated with irregular beats, please see your cardiologist at priority. Else you can see him on schedule and please do get an ECG at the time of irregular pulse. It will help him too.
sincerely
