Intense Stomach Cramps On Swallowing, Eases On Putting Gauze. Have Slightly Opened Hole With Oozing, Bad Taste Post Wisdom Tooth Extraction. Remedy?
I got my wisdom teeth out last Tuesday, a week and half ago. One hole still has not shut and fluid comes out with that horrible taste. I clean and flush it often but it s still there. Here s the problem: everytime I swallow it I get extremely painful stomach cramps . I know it s that because I put gauze in and the cramps stopped. What can I do?

it seem the socket is infected .this is called dry socket.
You need to visit your dentist he will ptescribe you wid
antibiotics analgesics and along he will give eugenol dressing
from relief.dont panic it do occur sumtimes because of infection

Wisdom teeth removal sometimes require bone guttering and surgical exposure along with a posing a bit more difficulty while extracting, so correspondingly they lead to more surgical trauma, leading to delayed extraction wound closure. Also, being last in the oral cavity, makes it difficult for the patient to properly cleanse the site. Dont't be worried that hole like socket will heal up in a few more days, provided you maintain extra oral hygeine measures like, gargling with either betadine or warm saline solutions for at least 3 times a day, avoiding smoking/ hot n spicy foods.
The fluid like thing is generally inflammatory exudate, a part of healing process. which will go off in 3/4 more days by following above measures. Stomach Cramps are no way related to putting gauze/ or extraction sockets. sometimes they may be felt as a side effectss of Pain Killers/ Antibiotics, which you might be taking. To avoid them, never take antibiotics/ painkiller empty stomach, and if possible take ACILOC tablets in morning empty stomach.
and lastly take AUGMENTIN 625 mg twice a day for 3 days for faster results
