Injury To Shin Causing Bruising And Sore, After A Few Days Have Bump At The Site Of Trauma. What Could It Be?

A shopping cart ran into my shin at full force a few weeks ago. It hurt much more than any bruise I ve had, although it didn t leave much of a bruise on my skin. It was sore to even the slightest touch for several days. I now have a small bump on my shin where the trauma occurred and it doesn t seem to be going away. It doesn t hurt, but what is it? Will it always be there? Thank you.
