Injury To Knee Causing Pain And Tingling. What Is Causing This?

Hi, I was just wondering about this injury I got yesterday. I was getting up from my piano and hit my knee cap on the edge of the piano. It felt like when I hit my funny bone in my elbow but I didn't think that could happen in the kneecap. It was very tingly and painful and afterwards I couldn't sit with it bent, I had to put it up on a pillow. It feels fine today, I was just wondering what I did or what happened.

Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
If you are able to bear the weight on your limb without much pain then a bone injury is unlikely. You need to continue with rest and ice . Most of the times it is a soft tissue injury but it takes at least 3-4 days for the pain to subside.
Hope this will helps you
Wishing you good health...
Regards.
