Injury To Calf Muscle. Severe Pain And Cramping. What To Do?

I was hit with a softball in the calf muscle a week ago. There is only a little bruising, but it continues to hurt. I wake up a few times in the middle of the night with severe cramping. My skin is extremely sensitive to the touch in the area where I was hit. The pain has not improved over the last week. What should I do?

hi, you have injury to your calf muscle, with swelling and cramping. see your orthopedician for this. even if there is no fracture, there can be compartment syndrome. which is quiet serious. all the best.
