I am a 49 yr old female and have a quarter size skin graft from a burn that took place when I was 13. I injured the area over a year ago (while mowing a piece of metal flew up and slapped my leg). The area around the skin graft (on lower leg just above ankle on right leg) is splotchy kinda like red bruises and the area is still sore to the touch after all this time, also the skin is hard and if you mash it, it stays pushed in and now my shin bone is sore also.
