Injury on the knee causing gap in the knee. What are the treatment options other than surgery?

HI....!!! My name is Rekha , 46 years old. 2 years back i got hurt on my left knee as i was getting downwards from stair which was approx 1 feet .. From that time to till the date i m getting treatment for this. Doctors said there is a gap in my knee, i dont want to go for the surgery..!!! Is there any other treatment except surgery? I reduced my weight from 92 kgs to 79 kgs.

you must start physiotherap now under physical therapist supervision to rehabilitate left knee by strengthening exercices and stretch ex and electrotherapy(ultra sound_interferrential current for knee joint_faradic current for quadri ceps muscles)
