Infected With Klebsiella Infection, Difficulty In Breathing, Sleeping, Prescribed Moxifloxacin, No Relief. What To Do?

hi , My brother is infected with Klebsiella Infection ,he is feeling diffculty in breathing and not able to sleep properly ,Dr suggested moxifloxacin400mg ,he is taking this tablet from last 5 days but no sign of relief ,i am attaching his reoprt here please help .....

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

The choice of a specific antimicrobial agent or agents depends on local susceptibility patterns and on the part of the body that is infected. For patients with severe infections, a prudent approach is the use of an initial short course (48-72 h) of combination therapy, followed by a switch to a specific mono-therapy once the susceptibility pattern is known for the specific patient.

Klebsiella is resistant to many antibiotic, may not respond.Not to worry, Proper antibiotic treatment helps remove his infection.

Consult your doctor for further management.
