It s very dry and sometimes turn red. He s always scratching . I brought him to a pediatrician and was told he has senstive skin. Is it true?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query,
With the history it is looking like seborreic dermatitis of the skin and scalp.
But similar skin may be due to dry skin or atopic dermatitis or a just allergic skin condition.
Exact diagnosis requires physical examination of the skin lesions by a doctor or dermatologist and the treatment depends on the accurate diagnosis.
For itching you can apply calamine containing lotions like calosoft or dermadew caloe.
Consult a dermatologist for the examination and for the specific treatment.
Hope I have answered your query.
