Infant With Fever, Low Appetite, Vomiting. On Crocin Syrup. Should Warm, Covering Clothes Be Worn?

Hello doctor
During fever what is correct, wearing light n loose clothes or wearing warm clothes and covering up with blanket? My 6 month old baby is having fever since 3 days. I am giving her crocin syrup 4 ml every 8 hours. She is not eating well and vomits if I give her more food. I am feeding her mother's milk as she is able to digest it.

hello there!
Thank you for asking. 6 months febrile baby needs a paediatrician if is not responding to Antipyretics. Low appetite and vomiting every thing eaten is a sign leading to dehydration and you dont want that to happen. Tap water baths and dressing gauzes soaked in tap water and placed on fore head and extremities will help bring the temperature down,
But see the paediatrician to be on the safrr road. tke special care of nutrition as fever increases the metabolism
