Infant Vomiting, Fever, Strep Test Negative. What Can Be Done?

MY 2 year old woke up 4days ago vomiting and fever took him to DR they said virus they did a strep test it was negative. my 6 year old work up the next day fever throwing up and headache she has had it for 3 days could hers also be a virus her fever is around 101.5

This is most likely to be a viral infection as it spreads rapidly between close contacts and siblings. She just needs symptomatic treatment with paracetamol, adequate rest and enough fluid intake.
