Infant Is On Vaxigrip Immunization. What If The Dosage Is Wrong?

I took my 3 years and 10 month old for his vaxigrip immunisation today. He had had it annually since he was 1 year old (resp issues) and the gp that did the previous doses did not record in his booklet...BUT I KNOW THAT HE HAS HAD THE INITIAL HALF DOSES 1 MONTH APART in 2010! The gp decided without telling me until it was done that she only administered half the dose and I need to come back again in a months time.
Is this correct? I am worried!
