Infant having bouts of diarrhea, indigestion. Could it be due to the intake of coconut milk?

hi my 19 month old has been having bouts with diarrhea . he had diarrhea last sunday that didnt last more than a day. he had it one time yesterday and now today he has had it 4 times, 3 in the last hour. no other symptoms. it looks as if the food was not even digested. i give him coconut milk instead of dairy milk. could this be doing it?

Thank you for your query,
Your son seems to have acute gastroenteritis may be a viral or bacterial.
It may be because of some contamination.
Give sips of oral rehydrating solutions like ORS, coconut water, lemon water, dal water to prevent dehydration.
Probiotic and zinc can be give to hasten the recovery from intestinal infection.
You observe whether every time after coconut milk he is developing the loose motions. If it is like that you can stop it.
If loose motions are not coming down consult your Pediatrician.
