Can Findings Showing A Bulky Cervix With Multiple Nabothian Cysts In An Ultrasound Scan Done Post Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Be Treated?
Indication.. Heavy Bleeding -- post menstruation.. continues for 9 days while usually is 4-5 days. no abdominal pain, fatigue and giddiness raised BP levels My Wife went for Ultra Sound scan for Pelvis Findings Thickened Endometrium - 12.1mm Bulky Cervix with Multiple Nabothian Cysts anechoic lesion 23 x 22 mm adjacent left ovary.. ( left tubal Cyst ??) Hb - 12.8 % other values also normal in Complete Blood count.
The continuous bleeding is probably due to thickened endometrium. I suggest you consult your gynecologist for endometrial biopsy followed by histopathological examination (HPE).
The morphology of endometrial glands and stroma can be determined after HPE.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
