Usually when you have pain from multiple joints all at he same time it is suggestive of an inflammatory arthritis. This can happen when you have a viral infection such as the flu in which case we call it a reactive viral arthropathy. It can also be a sign of other inflammatory arthritis like Rheumatoid arthritis. Anti-inflammatory medication can help in the short term but I would encourage you to seek the advice of your family Dr where further tests can be done to confirm the diagnosis particularly if your symptoms are ongoing.
