Increased Heart Rate During Running Sessions. Have Under Active Thyroid, Migraines. Suggestions?
my normal heart rate is about 45 beats per second - when I train/run my watch beeps saying heart rate 175 sometimes 180 - is this ok - I'm training for a half marathon and this happens when I'm running up hills....I was out training tonight and haven't worn the watch in a while but it kept beeping....thanks.
I have an underactive thyroid and am on 25mg beta blocker for long term migraines - hence slow heart rate? I'm female and 49 years of age ...many thanks
The predicted target heart rate during peak exercise is predicted with the formula 220 minus age; in your case, it gives us 171, which is precisely the ball park that your pulse sits according to your watch, therefore, a normal, actually good response, since you are able to achieve that number.
