OBGYN 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for the query.
If the blood pressure is 150 / 100 and does not respond to medication, then your obstetrician is right in advising termination.
Rise of blood pressure beyond this puts the mother at risk, of convulsions and the fetus is at risk of intra uterine demise.
So between 38 - 39 weeks, with such a reading of B.P. she is right in inducing the patient, with medicines to start labour pains.
Take care.
