Inadequate Sleep, Suggested Melatonin, Benadryl, Liquid Valerian Root. Is This Medication Ok Of A Child?
MY DAUGHTER HAS TERRIBLE TROUBLE FALLING ASLEEP AND IF SHE WAKES UP 5 MINS OF SLEEP IS LKE SHE HAS SLEPT 9 HRS.. HER DOCTOR HAD US TRY MELATONIN BUT IT WAS NOT USEFUL, PHARMACIST SUGGESTED BENADRYL BUT THAT TOO HAS NO AFFECT..THEN THE PHARMACIST MENTIONED LIQUID VALERIN ROOT..IS IT OKAY FOR A CHILD WHO IS ALMOST 9 AND WEIGHS 80 SOMETHING LBS AND IS 4 FOOT 6 TO TAKE THIS?

I read your concern and i would suggest you to make her sleep in quite environment without any disturbances or consult pediatrician and check for infectious factors making her trouble in sleeping .
If no causative factor is found then you can take Liquid velarin root as it make her to sleep without any side effects to organ or growth.
Do not be worried , She will be alright with this medication but make it not much addicted .
