In Third Trimester, Have Sharp Vaginal Pains And Discomfort On Baby Movements, Light Discharge. How Long Will It Take For The Baby To Come Out?

I m due July 17th. This is my 6 pregnancy will be my 5th child. I m 35 weeks I have been having shape knife like pains in my vaginal area and when the baby moves around it is so uncomfortable. I have started to have a little discharge and I m just wondering how much longer until the baby will come. I m afraid of the baby coming to early.

Hi,

Please go for the routine antenatal check up with your obstetrician. Get the abdomen gently palpated and get a fetal non-stress done along with the ultrasound.

Do not do anything about the pain in the vaginal area now.

Ideally, a fetus can be delivered at 37 completed weeks.

Do not be afraid and try to relax and stay calm.
