Welcome to Health Care Magic,
RBC in urine refers to blood in urine which can be visible(macroscopic),or not visible(microscopic).Haematuria may result from infection, inflammation, injury to the urinary system. In young people the most common cause is kidney stones or urinary tract infection.Cancers of kidney, bladder and prostrate becomes common cause in old age.some antibiotics, analgesic, quinine may also cause haematuria.
Urine dipstick, urineanalyisis should be performed to determine the cause.Ultrasound,IVP should be performed for structural abnormalities.
