I'm a female in my 20's. I have had hsv1

I'm a female in my 20's. I have had hsv1 my whole life and get cold sores. Recently I got testes for hsv (after a hsv2 scare) and both 1&2 came back negative. My doctor is telling me to assume im negative for both, but I want to know for sure. How can I know?

Hi there. I m 20 years old and just recently has found that I have hsv1. I have it on my genitals as well or so I think. I ve had a lesion on my gland for, I d say, 5 or 6 months now and it is just whitish/grey in the middle. No discharge , no pain, just a small little hole. Im not sure if there is any kind of medicine to help with it, but please help me. It s been stressful at the least. Thanks.

I was recently diagnosed with HSV-1. However, I am asymptomatic. Therefor, I am unsure of where the virus is active, genitals or orally. Is there a way to know where I am infected, seeing as no lesions have been present? Also, how would I know if I am shedding the virus without lesions?
