I'm a 50 year old woman. I had the flu

I'm a 50 year old woman. I had the flu 2 weeks ago. I was fine until friday. I started getting chest pain in the left side behind my left breast that was crushing and radiated to my back and I feel like I can't catch my breath. Last night I spiked a fever. I never get fevers. My normal temp is always 96.7. It's been 99.1 even with 1,000mg Tylenol every 8 hours piggy backed with 800 mg Ibuprofen every 8 hours. So I take Tylenol then 4 hours later ibuprofen then 4 hours later Tylenol, etc.
Lump nodes are slightly swollen in my neck and an hour ago my throat started to hurt.

Hello. I am a 55 year old woman. I am recovering from a flu-like virus where I had feverishness, headache and aches all over my body. The worst of this lasted about 5 days and I am slowly recovering. However, I am finding that I am experiencing low mood and an agitated feeling (similar to jangling nerves or butterflies in my stomach) and it is making it difficult for me to fall over to sleep. Is this a common symptom after having the flu? I am coping with this quite well as I control my breathing until the feelings pass but it is wearing me down somewhat. Should I be doing something different?

Hi. I m not sick at the moment but very curious about these symptoms. I had a pretty nasty stomach flu last week. I began vomiting at 3 am.....about 5 to 15 minutes apart, accompanied by severe diarrhea, beginning about an hour and a half later. All this happening for about 6 hours. Anyway, after each purge, my temp went down to 95, I was soaked with a cold sweat and dizzy. It subsided after about 5 minutes. Never experienced this before but I can t remeber being this sick...ever! I m a 57 year old woman, very fit and active. 5 5 125lbs. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hello, I think I have a cold or flu. I m in bed, sometimes have fever, headaches. I had to go out briefly to buy medicine 2 day ago and I almost fainted, couldn t walk in a straight line, couldn t open my eyes much. However I am a little worried about my cough. It just won t stop. All last night and this morning I need to cough every time I breathe in, so I m scared to breathe. My stomach and head hurt every time I cough. Sometimes I bring up phlegm. Is it a normal symptom of cold/flu to literally cough almost without stopping for hours? I am a 34yr old woman, non-smoker, and healthy. I am 5 9 and 130 pounds. However I have had 3 colds this year (all with cough) already. Normally I get colds only about once every 2 years.
