What Causes Bleeding From The Urethra And Vagina Apart From Abdominal Pain Towards The Sides?

I m 18 years old, I ve only been with my ex partner and current partner sexually, I was both there first sexually and they both don t have STDs. I also don t have any STDs (dah because both my partner and my ex didn t have them and I was there first plus I got checked). So a few weeks ago i had symptoms of a UTI frequent urination, blood in urine, uncomfortable down there. But then after a few days all the symptoms when a way so i thought i was fine. Then a week later i had irregular bleeding and realized I took a few one month expired contraception pills and thought that was the cause, I told my doctor and she said it wouldn t effect it. I then took in date contraception pills and the irregular bleeding went away after a few days. Now for the last week and a half I ve been bleeding only after intercourse and I have pains in my lower abdomen sides. I went to my doctor and she said it might be an infection or a stir and I explained to her I think I might have pid because if I had a uti and left it without taking antibiotics to fix it, it can turn into a pid (its happened before) and that I couldn t be a std because I only got checked a year ago and my current partner and ex partner don t have STDs. I m now going to do a ultra sound on my lower abdomen and get my urine checked for a infection. Anyway just then after intercourse my vagina bleed again, I had a shower then put a liner on, when I went to the toilet next it looked as if both my uretha and vagina were bleeding. I m very worried. If I continue bleeding from both my uretha and vagina and my side pains get worse im considering going to the hospital. Update I ve been wiping away blood when I pee sometimes I think from my vagina

Hello,

You are suffering from bleeding post coitus. You have past history of having UTI. you are also having pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen. Bleeding after sex commonly occurs due to rough sex, tear or injury to the private parts due to friction rubbing when the vagina is dry. To avoid vaginal dryness, go for a longer period of foreplay or use vaginal lubes, never go for penetrative sex if you are not adequately wet.

Get repeat urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done, if infection is detected you will be treated with specific antibiotics. Infections like PID or PCOS, may also cause similar symptoms. Get clinically examined by a gynecologist and get treated at the earliest. Medical conditions like cervical polyps, fibroid or endometriosis and sexually transmitted diseases can also cause frequent vaginal bleeding.

You are suggested to get Imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing the symptoms, so that treatment can be started. Get STD tests done to stay on the safer side. Stay away from addictions if any, Maintain your hygiene and avoid any type of sexual activity.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

I think it may be due to cause of endometriosis. You already have a plan for an USG. It is better to go for that. It is better to follow my advice, never perform sex during menses. It leads to complications.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
