If Dog Bite, What Type Of Precautions Should Take Beside Vaccination ?
Hello Doctor sir, I am Harika. Today morning i was go to my school at my street road, one smalll dog has ran silently my side immediatly bite my leg then immediatly went to hospital took vacacination. Kindly guide me what type of pre-cautions like food etc. Regards, Harika

Immediate washing of the wound with water and soap is very important.
There are no special precautions as far as the diet. Take a well balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
There is no recommendation that a particular diet should be stopped as practiced in lot of cultures post a dog bite.
Anti rabies vaccine along with tetanus vaccination will be taken care of by your doctor.

if you take anti rabies vaccine then there is no need for any special precaution.but you don't dress your bite site only apply antiseptic cream(let it open)

Hi, apart from vaccinations you have already started,proper cleaning of the bite wound is a must. the wound must be treated with medicines under expert guidence.-Prevention of setting in infection is to be the aim following vaccination.
Observe the biting dog ,it's behavier,s/s of rabies .Doctor will decide dose of vaccination accordingly.
