IS It Safe To Sleep In The Room Where Ammonia Has Been Used?

hi,so my friend spilled coffee on the carpet of the room we're staying in and used ammonia to clean it up. it's been 7 hours but the spot is still damp and we're worried about sleeping in the room due to the fumes....we can't smell them but we are worried nonetheless as the area is still not dry.

Hello,
Thank you for your contact to health care magic. I understand your concern. If I am your doctor I suggest you that sleeping in the room evaporating ammonia is dangerous. It directly affects the central nervous system and causes disorientation. Long exposure of high concentration can lead a person in comma.
I will be happy to answer your further concern
