IS HIV Possible Through Open Wounds?

im dealth in nursing yesterday i had a cut in my forefinger in da morning today near about at 2 pm while i was injecting a lady somehow side of da needle came in contact with da open wound of da forefinger but my wound was not bleeding as almost there was 30hrs gap b/w my injury and my exposure to needle. sounds crazy bt im frightened if there r any chances of infection like aids or jaundice.i dont know weather da lady was suffering from those problems or not.

1 You got cut 30 hours before any exposure .Scab formation take place within 12- 24 hours in an healthy individual ( as blood stopped in any wound , scab ( healing ) formation started .
2 The needle touched your wound but did't pierce or puncture it .
3 You din't know the status of patient ,whether she was HIV infected or not , jaundiced or not .
After going through these points I can say that you didn't get any HIV infection or jaundice .
Need not to worry at all in medical line such type of incidents happens .
