i went for an endoscopy and they found erosions seen in my lower stomach and gastritis lower body and antrum also z-line squamo-columnar junction distance 40 cm. they also found candida mild throughout my oesophagus everything else was normal. Is the above anything to worry about because my father died when he was 46 of stomach problems. I dont have anyother information about my father as we wasnt close and didnt see eachother all i know is that he did have celiak disease and he died due to stomach problems so now im worried that the hospital findings in my stomach may result in the same as my father or it maybe even the start of cancer .

I have acid reflux and was diagnosed with esophagitis and gastritis through upper endoscopy. Am constipated on and off and have recently noticed a (very) small amount of blood and mucous after a bowel movement. I am 48 and my last colonoscopy was 13 yrs ago- normal. Fecal occult blood test last month- negative. I am feeling really worried about colon cancer? Could it be something less serious?

i was on omeprazole previously for 3 months, i have never been constipated before like i have been at present for over a week. for just over a week I have been each day to the toilet apart from one day did not go at all and on another day went twice but have been badly constipated each time. I have increased my fibre including pears and prunes, increased water intake and exercised but still not helped. I went to the chemist two days ago and suggested dioctyl which I took two to start of with and visited the bathroom three hours later but still was constipated (had prunes too during the day).

Took another two dioctyle capsules today morning before breakfast and still not being to the bathroom. What do you think is wrong? I was diagnoised recently with a sliding hiatus hernia after having pain in the left side of chest as I was having acid reflux and few years ago had helicobacter pylori. Do you think this may all be connected?

I tested positive through a blood test for H. Pylori and my spouse tested negative, she was told she is anemic and she was told she was pregnant, she is 40 years old and african american. She was also told this is a high risk pregnancy and I am unemployed and our 14 year old is the only one with medical insurance-missouri healthnet. The head doctor of the urgent care where we went too instructed the nurses to tell me on the phone to take prilisec and and no antibiotics, he is not the doctor who saw us, that doctor was unavailable. I was told by the other doctor he would give me a prescription for antibiotics, he wasn't there and like I said I was told our H. Pylori results on the phone, I am worried and uncertain what to do to get the antibiotics I need. Can someone give me advice. 757-327-2297.
